On 5 and 6 February 2012, the first international conference on the technology of the preparation and sterilization of instruments in hospitals, particularly in their Central Sterilization Units, took place in Riyadh. In cooperation with leading suppliers of these technologies, the Ministry of Health, as an organizer and guarantor of the conference, succeeded in securing a very high level of speakers and overall a very good level of organization of the whole event. MMM Group was represented at the conference by Ms Claudia Graf, who participated in the discussion with her contribution focusing primarily on the training system of Central Sterilization Units’ staff in Germany, and by Mr Gerald Goellner, who spoke about the importance of the validation process of steam sterilizers as a factor in increasing the safety of the whole working process..
The Ministry of Health also ensured a very good attendance of about 200 specialists from the whole Kingdom and enabled several companies to promote their products and sales activities in the foyer. MMM Group, together with its local business partner Attieh Medico Co., also took advantage of this opportunity, which resulted not only in a number of further very promising business dealings and the deepening of existing personal contacts, but also further image enhancement in the eyes of our customers.
We believe that this successful event will be held regularly, and that along with the increase of work quality in Saudi hospitals, increased emphasis will be placed on the quality and service of equipment in use, and MMM Group products will therefore gain an even better and more important position in the market.
