Interphex 2011, the traditional and greatest exhibition of pharmaceutical device and equipment suppliers, was held on 29–31 March, 2011 in New York. Although the extent of this exhibition does not reach that of Achema organized in Frankfurt once in 3 years, attendance of about 400 exhibitors confirmed a new development of this industry, affected heavily by the crisis in 2008-2010. At this year’s exhibition, we used a new exhibition concept for the first time. It consists of light mobile panels, which was evaluated positively by our customers. We exhibited the laboratory version of Sterivap 559-2, Venticell 55, demo-sterilizer with a functional Allen Bradley control system, and Sterivap HP IL demo-panel. According to the evaluation of our colleagues from BMT-USA, this year’s number of attendants as well as the level of the new contacts is better than in the past. Six competitors presented their offers at the exhibition and if we compare the attendance from the optical point of view, we can be satisfied very much with our stand attendance. From our subsidiary company establishment till 31 December, 2010, we sold 68 laboratory and industrial autoclaves. World-renowned concerns like Californian Biorad, Merck, AnMed, Ortho, Nectar Bio etc. are numbered among our satisfied customers. We have öbtained our latest order from the world-renowned Baxter company, which ranks us among the top suppliers in the USA. This year has been started with a great success resulting in about 30 orders of our devices for the USA; the devices shall be delivered this year. We believe that in addition to Pittcon, this exhibition will also help to support our continuously increasing position on the US market.
