At the end of 2020, for the first time in our long history, we achieved a significant number of realized sales, which exceeded the limit of one billion crowns (more than 38 million Euros), which puts us in the category of large and important companies in the Czech Republic.
We started this year with the historically highest volume of orders and together we were looking forward to experience another normal, quiet and successful year. Who would expect on January 1 that we will soon be looking for fabrics to make face masks, buy disinfectants and learn to live and work with the ubiquitous aggressive disease COVID-19. The situation caused a great wave of solidarity in our company and made us all even more united. Together with our subsidiaries, parent company MMM and dealers, we quickly and actively participated in the fight against COVID-19 and our devices helped patients and researchers in hundreds of workplaces around the world. Most of them were delivered to the Czech healthcare system, to Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia.
Despite the difficult and, above all, uncertain times, we once again demonstrated the strength of our entire corporate team, and thanks to exemplary initiative, creativity and hard work, we did not disappoint our customers. Subsequently, they repaid us for this with new orders, which ensured not only enough work and financial stability, but for the first time in the entire history of our company to achieve and overcome the magical value of sales.
Excellent economic results continue to rank us among the most successful companies not only in the Czech Republic, but also in the world.
