The 10th International Central Sterilization Conference was held at Hotel SKI, Nové Město na Moravě (Czech Republic) from March 23 – March 24, 2010. As is the case every year, we too participated in organizing the Conference. The entire event was held under the auspices of the Nové Město na Moravě Hospital, the President of the Vysočina Region MUDr. Jiří Běhounek, and the Czech Society for Sterilization. More than 250 registered hospital and other health facility staff members participated in the Conference.
During the few days available to us we could present our work and products installed at various central sterilization units through the said personnel. Presentations were given, for example, on newly completed central sterilization projects in Kladno Hospital and in the Teaching Hospital in Ostrava and on experience relating to the central sterilization unit located in the Ostrava – Fifejdy Municipal Hospital.
At this International Conference we also launched a UNISTERI HP new steam sterilizer marketing campaign and presentation on the domestic market. This marketing campaign will continue over the course of the year and will be presented at all related events in the Czech Republic. Users are very enthusiastic about its new design, touch-screen control panel, new door closing mechanism and maintenance-free sealing. We trust that we have hereby kicked-off the sale of a new successful line of UNISTERI HP steam sterilizers and we hope that this product will, like in the case of its predecessor UNISTERI, maintain its prestigious position and competitive strength on both domestic and international markets for many years to come.
