Arab Health 2011, the 36th international exhibition of medical technology was held on 24 – 27 January, 2011. With more than 2,700 exhibitors from 60 countries, 30 national pavilions (by 4 pavilions more than in 2010) and more than 60 thousand visitors from most world territories, this exhibition has confirmed clearly its dominant position among the Near East healthcare exhibitions and, at the same time, the position of the second greatest exhibition of medical technology in the world.
As compared to 2010, the MMM Group stand was changed and improved. The stand made more airy and opened impression, and provided enough space for meetings and excellent conditions for the exhibited devices presentation. Steam sterilizer for central sterilization SELECTOMAT PL 969-2, medium-sized universal steam sterilizer UNISTERI HP 336-1, washing disinfector for central sterilizations UNICLEAN SL M 10-2 and demo panel of STERIVAP HP steam sterilizer were presented in the stand. As compared to 2010, the MMM Group stand has a better position, which was an important change. The stand was moved towards the main exhibition halls 3 and 4. This may have been the reason why the number of visitors in the MMM Group stand was the greatest in the history of our appearance at the exhibition. Among the visitors from 25 countries who visited our stand, there were mostly new prospective customers interested in cooperation with the MMM Group. However, there were also many visitors – end users, whose attention was drawn by our sterilization technology and offer of comprehensive central sterilization projects. It is also our tradition to meet with our dealers from neighbouring countries. Visitors interested in the MMM Group came mainly from India, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Libya.
We have started developing the new contacts immediately after the exhibition was closed. First projects that could be transformed into orders are in progress already. Successful completion of many projects is very probable, which would strengthen the MMM Group position in the region.
Regarding the success of this year’s exhibition, we have already booked a stand space for the next year and, at the same time, we have started negotiations with the organizers to move the MMM Group stand to a still better position in the halls 3 and 4.
